GUEST TESTIMONIALS
WHAT OUR DETECTIVES ARE SAYING...
I have attended two recent Crime and Dine experiences in Kingsport TN. Both shows were fantastic and both venues were great; ample parking and easy to get to. The food at the first one was an excellent plated meal. The food at the second one was a fun themed menu for the 80s. The cast truly commits to their roles and makes it an immersive experience. From the minute you arrive, they are IN CHARACTER, and it is hysterical. Their unbridled enthusiasm, humor, energy, and improv skills makes this experience an absolute hoot. Finding clues and solving the puzzles are challenging, but that’s what makes it competitive, and boy do people get competitive! This is a perfect ‘group’ outing. They also encourage you to get into the theme. For the first one, we got in all our Christmas/Holiday feels, and for the second one we busted out all our neon fun 80s gear and let our 80s freak flags fly! All in all, I think this is a fantastic value for the money! Three hours of entertainment, full course meal, drinks (alcoholic drinks are extra of course), and a super unique way to spend an evening makes this something I confidently can HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
My husband and I have attended two Crime and Dine events. I really like that they change the themes to allow people to attend multiple times. The staff is very talented and also spends time mingling with the guests prior and after the show. The staff really make the events worth attending. They are a hoot! While the night is not inexpensive (really what is anymore?) it does include dinner and a show, so it is totally worth it.
If you find the clues too challenging the first time, give it another shot. I promise you that anything you learn at the first event definitely helps you figure things out much quicker the second time. I had a great time either way.
I agree with others that say it is a great gang event where knowing and being able to work with everyone at your table is very helpful. I attended with friends who like to laugh with, sometimes at, each other and a wonderful time was had by all.
I had the delightful opportunity to attend one of the CRIME and DINE performances late last year and had a great time!Following the initial performance, wherein the crime is committed, the cast members stop by each table to answer questions (in character, of course!) as each table-team compares notes and attempts to be the first to correctly decipher the clues. Eventually, the smoking gun fingers the guilty party…but not until more hijinx and hilarity ensue!
It was an engaging, creative evening and the performance and cast members created a challenging puzzle not easily unraveled! If you want a bougie dining experience, you can drop coin at any number of restaurants. BUT, if you want intrigue, interaction, and a night to remember…you can’t go wrong with CRIME & DINE! It was unquestionably a memorable time with good friends, and I hope to do this again soon!!
So, if you are one whose deductive skills are piqued by such inquiries as: “Who dunnit?” (which is second only to the query that hounds us all, “Who let the dogs out?”)…then, get your inspector cap on, head over to CRIME & DINE, and see if you have what it takes to crack the code and sleuth your way to solving the crime!
